Dr. Marcella A. Tabor recently joined the Partners in Primary Care North Charleston center, bringing over 3 decades of experience as a board-certified doctor in family medicine. She attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Dr. Tabor decided she would follow in her father’s footsteps very early on in her childhood when she would eagerly accompany him during his weekly house calls and help him around his physician practice. The unique experience of seeing her father care for his patients, instilled in her the importance of taking the time to listen to her own patients and establish a strong doctor-patient partnership focused on mutual respect and empathy. This is why she decided to join Partners in Primary Care, because she felt that their integral approach to senior-focused care and multidisciplinary team worked hand in hand to address all the factors involved in the patient’s healthcare journey.
Outside the office, Dr. Tabor enjoys exploring new countries or planning her next trip, as well as cheering on her favorite college football team, Notre Dame. She is also a proud college mom of her daughter, who is currently attending Wake Forest University.
